Same here... Mine expires in 3 more weeks. Got the same notification that said it was scheduled on the 26th.
At least it's a good sign I guess, that our applications are moving along the queue.
Pinkies crossed that we'll get the bio-metrics appointment letter in the mail this week!!!

Do they generally allow walk-in as long as you have the notice? I didn't know about that, if that's the case that's what I'm going to do too.

Depends. Seems like it's harder now than it used to be.
If the center isn't busy when you get there, they might be nice enough to let you do it. Otherwise, they will turn you away.

Yea im on unpaid leave until who knows when (for now) lol. But my dept manager emailed me this morning asking when I will be able to return. Its been over a week since my expiration on 8/17! Ill be fucked for sure too after this week :/

You can say you don't wanna expire. Or you're out of town for work or w/e.

If you're lucky, they won't ask any questions.

Don't say anything... Unless your questioned. First time I attempted to walk-in, I told them on my own if I could do it and they said no. I drove to another location and simply handed them my notice and walah no questions asked. Did the same thing for last renewal. I'm now in a new city so we'll see. Of course, have an excuse ready in case you get asked.
