This is not legal advice but it is my understanding that you can go back to work. The start date on your EAD will be the date your case was approved. I'm glad your employer is taking a rational approach to this.

It went so smoothly the first renewal. I don't understand why this happened. Three days until I expire

Yup. I remember being so terrified because I thought I sent the renewal too late and screamed when I randomly checked and saw it was in production back in 2014.

This time around I was completely prepared and sent it as early as I could and here I am expired to the max.

My case was finally approved after waiting so long. I don't know if contacting my congressman did the trick or if it was all coincidental.

App. Received: March 28, 2016
Bios: April 11, 2016
DACA/EAD approvals: 10/2-16, 9/30-16 respectively.

I did 3 service requests, numerous NILC flaggings, and one congressional inquiry.

I won't celebrate until I have the card on hand.

Congrats! At least it's the first step to getting the card in hand.

This is pretty much everyone after the delay.

I just hope that all this situation is indeed because of the computer glitch and not because people inside of the government is purposely trying to harm us for whatever reason.

I'm so happy for more approvals coming through! Still roaming this thread though I'm more focused on the EAD production delay thread cause they're lagging with mailing it to me.

I'm praying for you all. I have a feeling this is the last time we'll be going through this.

Hi all,

Thankfully mine was approved today, it's also from March 28, 2016. Below is my timeline. I think my congressman flagging it was the most helpful. I also opened up a case with the Ombudsman office which said they flagged it last week. One of those two may have done the trick but it could also be a coincidence, hard to know. I suggest you try everything. Wish you all well and hope everything gets resolved.

Good luck!

Still no approval here. Been on leave of absence for 6 days now. If this takes longer, I'll have to use up the rest of my PTO. I know some people have gotten approved soon after contacting their congressman, but I've had no luck. I've done 2 service requests, called USCIS multiple times, gotten my case flagged several times by NILC and had my case elevated by the ILRC. I really believe that it is all a coincidence when people get approved soon after doing one or more of the above. Just hoping for more approvals this week.
