Not going to happen. Republicans still have control of the house and senate and will not move on immigration reform just to spite Obama. There's nothing Obama can do either which realllllly blows. Our only hope is that that oversized pumpkin was just spewing crap and wont actually get rid of DACA but that's a lot of hoping and frankly I'm all out of freaking hope.

Well i'm not so sure about anything since Trump got elected 50% of voters stayed home. Trump is a bully but I don't think he's a bull shitter..LGBTQ rights are gonna be reversed if he gets the opportunity to appoint 2 or more Supreme Court Justices.Remember Trump ran because of his disdain of our politicians. He figured I can fix this, what started as one big joke grew into one massive snowball that is now our president elect. He never liked Obama circumventing our "nation of laws" believe you me I think he will do what is within his power to undo all of Presidents Obama's executive actions and don't you belive those Republicans will save us. Our best bet would be for them to craft a bill and push it through ASAP..Or let's hope the orange man is one big actor and has something up his sleeve..But PENCE is the one to be afraid of he is ultra conservative and a racist. Good luck to us all.

I feel sick. DACA is more than likely to end. My BF at night asked me on election night if we ought to get married sooner. So we don't have to worry about immigration. I said I didn't want to talk about it yet, but when I think about it I don't want to be married under Trump. I'm also scared about what will happen to gay marriage with homophobic Mike Pence. I am so upset about this election. This could be it!

He literally says he will repeal DACA and DAPA executive actions. I was doing fine until i read that crap....now i feel like crap. fck.
As I've said before, he was on the Campaign trail. He will change now that he's gotten where he wanted and there will be negotiations.

Remember he also said he is going to prosecute Hillary.

Everybody please calm down because words have some power and can make some people here suicidal.

Is there anything Obama could do before he leaves office to protect DACA. Maybe make it an actual EO?

FIFTH, suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur. All vetting of people coming into our country will be considered extreme vetting.
This could mean anything. What's a "terror-prone" region? Any country in the middle east? What about those who were already here?

I'm not sure what things he has power to do but I do hope that the liberal states like California and Washington do to him what Texas had done to Obama. Sue everything he does. We may not win, but it would buy time until the next election. Those of you who live in california and still have some status should write your liberal congressmen, mayors, and governor and urge them to sue Trump if he tries to remove DACA and executive actions. If they find a friendly court, the injuction would buy a year and the appeal will buy another year. By the time it reaches the then conservative supreme court, it will be the mid-term elections.

You have SOME power to do something here so go and do it.

Does anyone else get pissed off when you hear this guy wants to make Mexico pay for his damn wall??? That's just him being a major d. It makes me so angry to see how ignorant and stupid this man is. Those are not qualities of a leader obviously but we all know that. Mexican's aren't the only undocumented immigrants in the country, everybody knows that, he knows that but he still insists in Mexico reimbursing his wall? Why? Cuz he's a ..jerk and a bully. Well I'm sorry we are closest to the U.S. so blame us for everyone being here illegally. You want the wall, you pay for it. Thats how life works. You want something for your benefit, you take care of it yourself. He's teaching people the wrong thing: If you want something, get it at someone else's expense. I'm so disappointed in America for electing such a bitter, sore, ignorant man as a leader.

Sorry, I had to vent. Okay, I'm done. Bye ^_^'

I don't blame him for wanting Mexico to pay for the wall, but that's not going to happen so it doesn't really matter.
