I hope that is still the case. I thought Trump isn't cancelling DACA because it makes him look too reckless. Now with all these reckless EOs, it's hard to believe that's the case.

He would of cancelled it already. The apprehension is good for us, plus he has said positive things about us. He's never changed course on a Muslim ban. I feel bad for those refugees and LPR people though, this is as inhumane as what he promised to do to us.

as a very personal note, i cannot understand how people on this forum support this ... person.

I agree. I'm just worried that they're still debating and might as well go take reckless route for us. One good thing at least for us is that we are political capital for them.

The White House rolled out a burst of executive orders out of a desire to appear productive in Trump’s first week, a person familiar with his planning told POLITICO. The orders were written by senior policy adviser Stephen Miller and chief strategist Steve Bannon, according to people familiar with the matter. Some were drafted by transition officials who aren’t in the White House.

Ugh these two need to go ASAP. It's the equivalent of having kobach being head of DHS.

Steve Bannon looks like a Star Wars villain.

This ^^. Please don't be like other immigrant groups who throw us under the bus. Like Muslims, we are the targets of negative, hostile attitudes fueled by negative perceptions.
