Here's a thought, instead of waiting yet another 5 years to apply for residency they can just pass over the years we have had with DACA over to RACA. I'm seriously done with waiting. I'm 25 years old and I just want this nightmare to END!

I was able to get the e-mail for Rep. Curbelo's spokesperson from the writer of the article. Please message me if you want to voice your support, so I can share the e-mail with you.

Exactly this is all BS. Nothing but a political move by the republicans to get Dreamers to jump parties for the next 5 years. If they really cared they would expand DACA and just give us a path to residency already.

We haven't even had DACA for 5 years yet...

You should certainly share it with us. I will gladly offer both my support and encouragement. Not sure if we are legally allowed to donate money though because I totally would.

No it doesn't work like that they don't want to pass a bill that would look like "amnesty" to the public. I see it as one of the best options we have on the table or at least better than the Bridge Act

By public I'm assuming you mean racist republicans who hate immigrants. They're going to hate RACA regardless even if it takes 10-20 for residency. This is an attempt to start bringing in Dreamers to the Republican side by stamping a new name of DACA and promising residency in 5 years. It's certainly already fooling a lot of people here.

We get 'conditional permanent residence' initially for 5 years. I don't see what is wrong with that. It allows you to travel (without AP) and work, and a huge step from DACA or BRIDGE Act.
