According to the USCBP page it says that yes you can travel with out requesting a parole permit to go, since it is a US territory, and you may return but you should carry your paperwork (I.e. ID's) to facilitate your return home.

Going for Spring Break and I'm a bit nervous, but hey, can't live in fear.

A world in fear is a world not worth living in.

I went to Puerto Rico, traveled the entire island, got robbed at gunpoint, danced salsa with the most beautiful women I could find, took a piss at the edge of cabo rojo, surfed on the wild waves of rincon, swam with turtles in culebra, gazed at the stars in arecibo, explored el yunque and did much more. Go and have fun! It's one of the most beautiful places on earth.

I googled this topic, and I found this answer.....

"Will travelers from U.S. territories need to present a passport to enter the United States?

U.S. Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (LPR's) who travel directly between parts of the United States, which includes Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Swains Island and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), without touching at a foreign port or place, are not required to present a valid U.S. Passport or U.S. Green Card.

However, it is recommended that travelers bring a government issued photo ID and copy of birth certificate.

It also is recommended that you carry proof of your LPR status at all times in the event you are asked to prove your status. This may be in the form of a green card or passport.

Hawaii is a U.S. state and therefore passport documentation requirements for U.S. citizens and LPR's do not apply.

Entry requirements for non-U.S. citizens are the same as for entering the United States from any foreign destination. Upon departure, a passport is required for all but U.S. citizens."

I am guessing since we do NOT fall under US Citizens or LPR's and are non US Citizens we wold require a passport.

We only need our EAD an or DL no need for passport. I took both with me when I traveled to the U.S Virgin Islands last summer you go through customs and they do ask you questions and your status in the USA. So, I'm guessing PR should be somewhat similar since it's also a territory.
