I have a hard time picturing Trump coming to Texas and announcing that DACA will be cancelled. Considering that Texas is the second largest DACA recipient and in a crisis.

At the moment, it seems that they are trying to add a Harvey hurricane relief fund with the debt ceiling bill. That being said, If Trump does decided to cancel DACA it may play into our favor, why?
Trump has been fighting for funding for his wall, he threaten to veto the debt ceiling bill over it. Coming to Texas and announcing that he is ending DACA makes for bad press; "First Harvey, now Trump. Texas' Dreamers can't catch a break." I personally think that it would give us sympathy points, and it is here where one of those several bill that have been floating around could be attached to the debt ceiling/relief fund bill.

Of course, knowing how malign Democrats are, we may not get anything at all.

You are assuming Trump cares to read the room. He will say or do whatever he wants whenever he wants. Even in the middle of a national disaster like we saw him do on Friday.

At this point, I just want the Dems to stop being punks and actually do something. Stop with the messages of support. Schedule a God damned vote on one of these bills and stop using us as pawns. Because they are just as guilty as the Republicans when it comes to this.

Doesn't help when groups like UWD are opposing as well!

The dynamic will change. These groups won't be able to oppose compromise any longer.
