I wonder if the Dream Act will retroactively protect those who are aging out of DACA.

I hope it does as it was their fight that benefited us however, realistically, I can see how the GOP would want to limit as many people as possible.

DA 2017 does not have age cap and only DA version ever to have an age cap was 2010 one which failed. I remember when DA was introduced in 2001.

With the latest order, we are going to have two groups of people who will be without DACA...people who were too old and those who were under 15 before September 5th and now if they're over 15, they can't apply anymore.

If they just make DACA the law, it won't help all of us. The 2017 Dream Act is the best bill we have right now. I'm glad they removed the max age since it was started in 2001 and many who qualified then are too old now.

Late 40's Dreamer (Holy Fucking shit I'm almost 50 and still dealing with this), aged out of original DACA and didn't have a chance to apply for extended DACA after Republicans killed it on the vine.

I hope it includes dreamers aged out of DACA. Can't imagine how they would have felt when DACA was announced and they were left out of it while they were the ones to advocate for us for so long.

I got DACA in 2012. I never renewed for personal reasons until last year. I just got an RFE.
