I've said this before and I'll repeat...

If congress doesn't pass anything and our EAD's expire ALL of us have one option: Create an LLC company and get hired as an LLC company.

Having an LLC company gives you the ability to create an EIN for that company, this number acts like a "social" for said company with the full legal ability to be for-hire.

Some of our employers may be willing to do this, I know mine is. So that's probably going to be my route.

One negative? During taxes we get hit with a "self-employment" tax which can be hefty but it beats not having a job at all. There are ways to off-set it by having deductions (something T does on his taxes).

Otherwise, for some of us it'll be time to look for day-labor jobs again or pending what some of us do for a career, offer house-to-house services.
