I just read both this article and the one on NYT.

What exactly triggers the Permanent Ban?
I was really frustrated and sad to read what they were going through as well.
The permanent bar is triggered when an "alien" attempts to, or successfully, reenters the UW without inspection after previously:
1. Being deported/removed from the US or;
2. Entering the US without and inspection and then leaving the US

Sorry guys!
No worries Zara12, these are particularly difficult times for all immigrants so I know we are all pretty worried. Nonetheless it was the NYT that failed to include the information that explained why it happened that way. If anything this allows us to reiterate how important it is to use a reputable attorney and to be 100% honest about your case with said attorney.

All I can do is keep hating Trump!

And Hilary, since she stole the election from Bernie.

Bernie would have EASILY beat Trump

A few weeks ago my DACA was terminated as most of you know.
A lawyer from ACLU called me and told me to join their law suit. My DACA was set to expire on May of next year. I just don't want to be in the radar more than what I already am.

They won the case for the young gentleman who was charge for smuggling someone.

What do you guys think?

I think u have a chance if that guy won. I remember seeing that story, and thinking about your case. They had no reason to give you DACA SACS and arbitrarily take it away. Good luck stay in touch with the ACLU.

Make a list of pros and cons.

If you have illegal family members AND you will with them, maybe you don't want necessary attention but if they are set, then I say go full force - you got nothing to loose.

For those who's DACA was revoked without any explanation (like me) or if you know anyone this is all the information you need from law suit that was won by ACLU.

The attorney from ACLU send me this.
Hi Vik-

Here is a link to the advisory, which has more information about the lawsuit. https://www.aclu.org/fact-sheet/inla...sked-questions
