I think libertarian1776 should read the articles 44 out 48 are not supporting the extension... 52+4 = 56 votes = they can't pass it until January at least at the moment according to Chuck

I call BS. If they add CHIP funding, more than just 4 Dems will vote for it.

Schumer and Durbin said that they are close to an agreement and we also have the support from Flake. The senate should be able to approve an spending bill with some kind of relieve for dreamers next week.

Not happening. The CR has already been released. It only includes CHIP and military funding.

So how many chances we got left?

We basically don't have much leverage if they fund the CHIP for the whole year, or did they just fund it till jan 22?

If a CRomnibus passes, its over. If a CR passes til Jan 19th, its the same as it is now, more 'discussions', kick the can down the road until its too late because it's an election year. The main point is Repubs are calling Dems on the shutdown bluff. If Dems aren't willing to eventually shutdown, they have no leverage.
