Pelosi & Schumer Press Release:

“We had a positive and productive meeting and all parties have agreed to continue discussing a path forward to quickly resolve all of the issues ahead of us.”

https://www.democraticleader.gov/newsroom/1318-7/

White House, Ryan Press Release:

"Today the Republicans and Democrats in Congress shared their priorities for a bipartisan spending agreement. The American people deserve a government that funds our great military, protects our borders, and leads to a more prosperous future for all. It is important that we achieve a two-year agreement that funds our troops and provides for our national security and other critical functions of the Federal government. It also remains important that members of Congress do not hold funding for our troops hostage for immigration policy. We’ve been clear about these budget priorities from the beginning and hope that further discussions will lead to an agreement soon."

So much posturing, no action or progress...

IIRC sounds better than the statement they put out after last meeting.

Sorry but it's not as easy as it sounds. We've been hearing the same shit over and over again for the past 10 years. IMO the statement is fake. It, states the opposite.

There’s no point in getting emo over this. It just makes you less productive.

These republican idiots don’t expect to get funding for the border and ask democrats to leave immigration out of it? We are definitely getting something out of this 2 year agreement.

I understand, we all want to be optimistic about things, and I don’t blame anyone in here for that, after all we all want positive results.

However, how many times have we heard them say this and they always bail at the last minute. All their doing is paying lip service to us. We must keep pressuring them until they show us results. We can’t take their words and say “ok everything is fine guys!”

Let’s keep fighting!

yeah true.

but it goes both ways though, the negative wing of this site also spin statements to sound negative and they over anlayze every word to make it sound negative.

doesnt really matter, just where you want to stand at the end of the day,

I think there is a huge difference between being negative and being realitisc. I’m not saying the sky is falling, however I am saying that we must stay pro-active and keep on fighting, I definitely want a positive outcome but I am aware that in the past few months the Democrats have been giving us lip service with very little results. I do agree that we must keep our cool.
