Trump is a terrible negotiator...it's why he accomplish nothing other than that tax reform bill. Most presidents accomplish their major priorities within the first year and then everything goes into mid term election mode and gridlock.

I do think the Democrats miscalculated that the Republicans were willing to call their bluff. They only shutdown the government because it was the weekend where the affects of the shutdown was minimal. Republicans would of folded in about a week or so but Democrats didn't have a long term plan. They thought Republicans were just going to fold right off the bat. Pussy shit. They should of let me negotiate for them. At the very least I would of had the republicans meet right in the middle at 2 week extension. Mitch looked like a scared deer all weekend. He would of cracked in a week easy. Then Trump would of cracked right before his State of the Union.

Most Americans don't keep up with politics and probably don't know CHiP wasn't founded because republicans are asshole So when they saw their child and turned the news of course democrats see gonnalook bad

If democrats did have top minds they wouldn't let McConnell run the senate from the backseat, and let republicans capture a fuckton of state legislatures in 2010 and let them gerrymander themselves into a majority for at least 10 years in the house.

Unless there's some really grand scheme at play here, I don't fucking see it.

Republicans also have money and top minds. Competing interests means there will always be winners and losers.

Someone has to have the top minds, there can't be two #1s.

Well one of the sets has to be somehow better. If democrats have better ideas and get assfucked come every election then something's a bit off here.
