Change of Address to receive USCIS replies

Hello fellow dreamers,

I would like to double check if updating my address via the following link will let USCIS
send all replies (i.e. receipt, biometric, approval, EAD) to a new address.
Sorry if it is trivial.

Yes. If you have any pending cases such as DACA renewal, click 'yes' when asked 'Is this change of address for an application or petition currently in progress?'. Then you can enter the receipt numbers.

If i just recently updated my address online (2 days ago) and I am about to send in my renewal tomorrow, does the online way automatically update their database of my new address or does it take some time to process? Do i need to redo it after sending my renewal and getting a receipt number?

It might take a few days to process, but I'm assuming your new address is set as your mailing address on your renewal forms? If yes, then you won't need to redo it. The renewal receipts,etc should all be linked to the new address automatically.
