If we don't get citizenship, we can't sponsor our parents anyway!

The complete wall funding was first put on the table by Schumer, this won't be anything new to them.

I’m with you on this.

To be honest this is the best solution.

They are worthless and assholes. They won't take the deal since it's "too much" to give up for them. What exactly is giving up too much? The deal is fine if we only stick to the outlined points: (1) Wall, (2) End DV lottery, and (3) End chain migration. But they will not agree to the deal and would rather keep using the issue as political football.

Guys it’s not a deal- it’s a framework. Let the negotiations begin! Everyone hold on to your heads, it’s going to get crazy next week.

I agree with Piano. Trump not too long ago also said he would make us wait 10 years for citizenship, so he could be supporting a path, just a very long one. Also, how could you not sponsor your parents once you are a USC? Are they trying to make us second-class citizens?

Chain migration should include parents of US citizens. Its ridiculous that an aging parent could not be re-united with their kids.

I think the best bill would have:

A 5-10 year path to citizenship for DACA
Chain Migration limited to nuclear family+parents
A combination of merit-based immigration, with unskilled.
