Trump and President Miller have threatened to veto that too.

@AliABCNews
White House comes out "strongly against" the "Common Sense Caucus" immigration bill. I'm old enough to remember when @POTUS said he'd sign anything Congress sends him -- "If they come to me with things I’m not in love with, I’m gonna do it. Because I respect them." (Jan 9)

Senate attempting to set up vote sequence beginning at 1:45 pm on procedural votes on immigration. Nothing set in stone yet. Should be procedural votes, needing 60 yeas to end debate on 4 amdts.

Graham to Trump: If you turn over #DACA and immigration over to Stephen Miller and Tom Tancredo, you're going to fail like Obama and Bush.

If Senate gets time agreement, votes at 1:45 pm et will all be on invoking cloture to end debate (60 yeas) on 1) Coons/McCain DREAM Act plan, 2) Toomey plan on sanctuary cities, 3) bipartisan senators plan, & 4) Grassley "4 pillars" plan backed by Trump. Doubtful any will get 60

Just to note, the proposal is for the Senate to begin the vote series at 1:45 pm et today. Last week, they proposed voting at 1:45 pm et on Thursday..and we were here until the middle of the night. Doubtful that will happen this time

Tom Tancredo, who was pushing for a border wall years before Trump ever got in the mix. Those are the aides setting the White House’s immigration policies. Ah.

These racists and bigots need to get out and stop fleecing taxpayers. They will not bring solutions. They have a personal agenda against immigrants.
