The I-831 has most of the information it reads "Subject was allowed to withdraw her application for admission in lieu of expedited removal for 6c2 of the INA. The subject was advised of her right to speak to the Mexican consulate and subject waived that right. The Subject was returned to Mexico in good health without further incident."

The baffling part is I was released to someone in the US. I was 19 and looked 14 and I recall the officer asking if there was someone he should call to pick me up and I did, My USC stepdad at the time and they had me wait in a waiting area (it was late at night) and when he showed up they allowed me to leave with him. INTO THE US. I have been told that is the reason why a I-193 is also a part of my file but I wouldn't have qualified for it.
Still baffling. Thank you for sharing your story. It takes courage to share about their experience. Please update us if there's any changes. You're very lucky to still be here to be with your family as there are a lot of people who get separated by this law. Still needs a reform.

I hope your lawyers can find a solution for you! Please let us know if you do find a solution to overcomes this.

I never heard about it but if so then that case doesn't apply INA 212(a)(6)(C)(ii) false claim to U.S. citizenship as it has to be made on or after September 30, 1996. So that person inadmissible to the lifetime ban.

Thank you guys. I've learned to cherish what I have, that's for sure. I agree a reform needs to happen but I'm not too optimistic about that now.

Adversity is a hell of a drug folks! Good Luck to all.

I saw that the 2013 CIR that failed had a false claim to citizen waiver provision. Hopefully there will be one in the next reform. Unfortunately, any reform under the Trump administration will only end up more draconian. Hopefully 2020 will yield a more liberal administration.

So you have been able to renew DACA with this I-831 in your file?

Yes, I’ve never had an issue renewing.

Oh wow seriously?? That would have been awesome. There's very limited waivers out there and you really need to have good evidence about it.

I really hope at some point if a CIR is passed (presumably long after a Dream Act type thing is passed), they put in a forgiveness clause or amnesty if you will for past claims of being a citizen. If you dig deep enough in an undocumented person's past, you're likely to find somewhere where they said yes to get people off their back and not arouse suspicion.

I hope we have a good outcome for 2020 and a CIR is passed once and for all.
