I got approved today?!
I received an update on my case and says
"Card is being produced"
"We have approved your form 1-765, Application for Employment Authorization".
The receipt number for the I-821D has no update so far.
Is this normal for being this fast but why is there no update for the I-821D?

Mind reposting your timeline?

They will not approve your I-765 unless they approve your I-821D. If I remember correctly, you get the notification right away for the approval of an I-765 but there is a short delay for the I-821D. The approval of your I-821D should appear in the system soon, likely show as approved later tonight/tomorrow.

And congrats!

I would not be worried too much (aside from what we deal with on a daily basis regarding DACA). To my knowledge, this is the first time in my renewal I have seen a message like this. I would just wait patiently as you can and as soon as you hit 105 days do a service inquiry, congressional inquiry, etc. Also, when do you expire? Do you have some time?

On this post you said you expire on January 2019 and sent it via USPS. Now you are saying that you expire May 2018 and sent it via FedEx. Which is it?

That's my brother. He was worried it got rejected because it took longer to receive a text compared to mine. I think i posted again after I did my biometrics, if you can find it. I don't know how.

Hi , look like everyone is trying to renew earlier. I checked out the renew web page on USCIS, I don't see the earliest date of renewal anymore, I recall it used to be 150 days before expiration. Is that why everyone is sending it earlier?

Last time I sent it right at 150 days and the card arrived 1 month late I have to take a short leave from my current job.

People are sending them in earlier because of the current uncertainties of where DACA will end up if SCOTUS makes a decision. People are sending renewals in to get two more additional years of protection.
