I got my letter this week, my room mate grabbed the mail on Friday and forgot about it. Anyhow, the letter states that the SSA couldn't find my information on their record and as long as I have give a reasoning and with the copy of the letter, I shouldnt be denied any right.

Luckily you only have to show "preponderance of the evidence" that it was not a willful failure to register, it's the lowest standard of evidence.
