I am currently in a senior CUNY college working on getting my Finance degree with a minor in Information Technology and Social Responsibility. I graduate this semester in May. I have applied to probably over 250 jobs and internship both on Linkin and my college career website but I haven't had any luck. I revised my resume a number of times and I talked to a lot of people about what I can do to land an internship or job.

Now I am stressed that I am graduating and I don't have a job lined up as yet.

I would love to work in anything to do with Finance. Any advice or a point in the right direction would be appreciated. Do any of you guys work in the Finance field and how did you get your job?
Do you have any internship experience during college?

I had one internship in college. It was at a real estate development/management firm during summer 17.

You don't need to mention or explain anything about DACA. They are not allowed to ask for details about your immigration status/process. It's very rare for them to ask about the expiration date but if they happen to ask, just say that your process is pending and your EAD is renewable every two years. NO need to give any other details besides that! They are also not allowed to ask for any extra evidence of your immigration status unless it's a type of job that requires permanent residency or any type of clearance. The EAD gives you full rights of Equal Employment Opportunity and even if you just have a few months left on your EAD, you still have the rights to work.
International students also receive temporary EADs for OPT. So are M1s, J2s, refugees, TPS..., even those who legally apply for Green Card also request temporary EADs... They are familiar with EADs and in fact, all EADs are temporary and nobody need to explain how they got it.

Even though my current EAD expires in few days (renewal was approved recently) my HR department has just been sending me emails to show new worth authorization documents.
And that would be 99.99% of all companies that do not require clearance or permanent residency. They are just following the law and should not ask for anything else as long as you don't have an Expired EAD. Plain and simple, they don't want to be sued!

I believe it is illegal to deny someone employment if you are legally authorized to work UNLESS the company has a particular reason why they cant hire someone with a work permit such as if the employee will need security clearance, which only permanent residents and citizens can get (not completely sure about perm residents).

As long as you have been truthful there shouldnt be any problems.
