The main obstacle has been and will always be

TRUMP

Although Dems in the Senate would probably be the most obvious impediment. If the House actually passes a DACA fix, it could be too conservative for some Dems to support.

Im down for Daca for border security plus something else in the mix. Even DACA status with bridge to the immigration laws and be eligible for GC or something like nonimmigrant status that then turns into GC.

These all obstacles can be overcome as long as the bill is not too partisan to the right side/Republican.

But then again, technically theres no bill yet.
