Things should change by tomorrow when Trump and GOP hold the line against house bill. Schumer and Pelosi are just delusional.

Who would have thought that it would be Republicans pushing for a DACA fix. When was the last time Schumer even mentioned us about a solution?

Schumer would be stupid if he start negotiating for DACA right now. The moment he does that, it becomes Democrats shutting down the government for illegal aliens.

Chuck and Nancy need to stay silent and let trump to continue his shit show. Trump and GOP are cracking, they want the shut down to end ASAP since it’s hurting their poll numbers.

Democrats need to stay silent and keep pushing back. MAKE the GOP in the senate put DACA fix into the budget bill and bring it up for a vote.

DACA fix will die the moment Chuck and Nancy start to openly negotiate for dreamers.

Actually you have it all wrong. Schumer isn’t mentioning DACA not because he’s afraid to derail any negotiations or get bad press, but because he’s made it perfectly clear that “We can’t take the whole stage” and he also said a couple weeks ago that immigration isn’t going to be a priority until after 2020.

Pelosi might control the House, but she doesn’t control the Senate or the White House which is needed to make a bill law.

With that being said, Pelosi wants to pass a CLEAN DREAM ACT with TPS protections and no other border security attachments to it. Ask yourself this. Do you really think that’s going to pass in the Senate let alone be signed by Trump?

If the Democrats are serious about making immigration a priority then they have to understand that they need to meet halfway and compromise.

Pelosi’s attempt at passing a clean Dream Act with TPS protections is just to save face for the 2020 elections. It’s called politics!
