President Trump early Wednesday warned members of a bipartisan conference committee tasked with negotiating border security policy that they would be “wasting their time” if they did not consider his demand for a wall along the border with Mexico.

“If the committee of Republicans and Democrats now meeting on Border Security is not discussing or contemplating a Wall or Physical Barrier, they are Wasting their time!” the president tweeted Wednesday.

I think Trump's insistence on wall is good for DACA individuals. As long as wall is on the table, so is DACA. Recent news suggests that DACA is slipping off the discussion because Democrats aren't relenting on any funding for the wall. Trump's latest tweet sort of upends this discussion and forces conference to think over and consider wall. If they consider wall, the should consider DACA as well. Because if Dems give wall funding without DACA, they ought to lose in 2020.

He'll declare emergency, courts will block it but it would be enough for him to declare victory. His base will eat it as everything else he does.

Then he can say that the dems are sabotaging his efforts and that he needs Republicans to win in 2020 to get the wall

Trump is wasting the Democrats time if not discussing a solution to Dreamers that includes a pathway to citizenship.
