Apparently police in Philly are investigating a plot to attack the convention center where the votes are being counted SMH. Of course they will turn out to be Trump supporters.

Can't believe there still a decent chance that Dems might get the Senate. Let's pray all!

If the Democrats get new leadership and get rid of Schumer and Pelosi. I think they’ll have a chance at winning those 2 seats. But it’s time for some fresh new leadership. Part of the reason we keep losing is because these 2 are in leadership.

Apparently her head is on the chopping block. Let's hope so.

Three-quarters of Americans say Nancy Pelosi should be replaced, including half of Democrats, so I definitely think is time for a new leadership.

I would like to see Tim Ryan who is a moderate take her place. He just won his re-election in Ohio by a comfortable lead.

Pelosi gets way too much undeserved flak and painted as some unhinged liberal. She may be personally liberal, but she is very pragmatic in governing.

She had to balance the loud progressive part of her caucus with the overall moderate one, held back their cries to impeach Trump at the very first opportunity like some progressives demanded because it would have undermined the whole process, kept a lid on the very unpopular green new deal, stood her ground on the wall when the government shutdown occurred, and you can't forget that she wrangled the votes for the Dream Act in 2010. She ain't perfect, but keeping 218+ people happy probably ain't easy.

I see your logic and can most definitely agree to your statement.

Yup

Especially if they attempt to pass a DACA bill next congress. It's not going to be easy, and I do believe it is possible even with a Republican senate, but that will take a steady hand now that the Democratic caucus is shaken with some of the losses this election. I'd rather have someone with experience than some newbie at the wheel.
