Just a self-affidavit. But I went into pretty grisly detail in it. Tbh I felt sick after I wrote it, and after I re-read it while getting ready to respond to the RFE I felt like I was getting PTSD flashbacks.

On I-360 you have a box that says "I am in US and request an Employment Authorization Document". If you tick it, upon approval they will issue you a C31 EAD free of charge.

Yeah I submitted some with the original application. Yes, I self-filed and responded to the RFE myself. Right now I'm writing a request for a joint motion to terminate.

I'm so sorry you went through so much in order to get to the point of having to file a VAWA. I hope you are doing well and that the remainder of your journey is smooth.

You have really helped a lot of Dreamers here with their paperwork over the years.

For VAWA the abuser doesn’t need to be arrested, the abuse can be emotional or physical.
