Add temp worker visas and Susan Collins on board

So definite yeas:

-Collins

8 more!
This is a no brainer. This is the best step forward as a start towards broader reform. They must start with a Dreamer Deal and slowly later on they can get to Comprehensive Reform. Lindsay Graham seems open to a deal asap and Collins is on board! Conditional Permanent Residency for all Dreamers immediately!

GOP Senator Portman will not be seeking reelection. Possible 'yes' vote for immigration reform?

Maybe but no basis to conclude that

Why do you think he's that, based on what?

He was one of the few GOP willing to help us in the last regime.

Outgoing gop senators usually find the time to actually be right on an issue. They dont have to answer to a rabid base.

I guess I'd put him on the fence. I read some conflicting statements about him.

Let's just say that if Portman is not a yes, then there won't be 9 other GOP who will vote yes.

Assuming Jon Tester (D) is nay, we need 11 GOP votes.

Solid yes
- Graham
- Collins
- Lisa Murkowski

Maybe yes
- Porter

To be honest, I don't think little Marco will vote yes. He will buckle under the slightest pressure from the right which is what happened with the gang of 8 bill. Rubio wants to run for the presidency again and he will not risk his chance with the GOP by showing any support for "Amnesty for illegal aliens".

When you count the vote, I don't even think DACA bill has a chance and people be asking for citizenship for all.

what about Mitt Romney? Honestly, this is so depressing. Wish the Dems could do away with the Filibuster
