Edit: Hire a good attorney. Even if you’re a savant for navigating the complex rules of the US immigration system, an attorney will be beneficial. These people have considerably more experience DOING, and have industry contacts. Not a guarantee, but they will be better able to help you navigate your personal situation and concerns than an Internet forum.

Do you have any idea how much an immigration attorney may cost to help with the AoS? I live in WA state and I just want to know whether to expect a couple hundred or a couple thousand. Also, do you know if it matters or doesnt matter about my mandatory military situation? From my understanding, it shouldnt matter since I entered the US with inspection.
