Just watched the trailer for this and it hits home, specially the part about your whole life depending on a judge telling you whether or not you are allowed to stay in country after 30 something years. Also the lawyer charging all the money!

Anyways just thought you all might enjoy the trailer, seems like a drama but some us could relate to part of the story.

It’s based on a true story
They did a documentary of the real guy including how his life in Korea after he got sent back.

Link to it? Also is korea THAT bad? Its a 1st world country............. 99% of people here are from Mexico that if deported to Korea their lives would be much better than in Mexico (assuming they speak Korean)

I didn’t watch this movie, so they probably have an alternative ending but in my opinion I rather watch the real thing.

It's an entirely different culture and starting a new life as a middle aged man is a raw deal, no matter where.

Its been a while since I've seen the documentary but doesn't the guy only speak very basic Korean?

Imagine a USC who only speaks farsi and very broken English starts living in New York city with no family or friends in his mid 30s.
