Can you believe it's already been nearly 11 years since 2010? Sure we got DACA, but we are still nowhere close to legalization.

So for Dream Act to move forward its all in the hands of one person, the parliamentarian Elizabeth McDonough. The future of our lives is hanging from this person. Not the majority of the senate hut 1 person no. :/

Even if she says yes don't expect smooth sailing. We still have Mansion and Cinema.

@ErikaAndiola
Today, we came across
@Sen_JoeManchin
at the Capitol. I told him I was a #DACA recipient, and I asked if he supports legalization through reconciliation. He said he would if it passes the Byrd rule.

Under the Byrd Rule, a provision is considered extraneous if it:

- Does not produce a change in outlays or revenues
- Increases the deficit beyond the “budget window”
- Makes changes to Social Security

ok???

This really means one thing and one thing only. The only person in our way is Elizabeth Macdonough.
