I did the latter, it definitely adds more legitimacy to the series.

Show was average. Dont know why people are making such a big deal out of it.

It's loosely based in reality. Minus the death part when you lose which is replaced by suffering in the real world.

Real world is more cruel in fact. Those who lose slowly agonize till death.

rehash of "battle royale" which is kind of a rehash of "the running man". You'd probably find half a dozen other titles between that time frame w/similar plots.

Millennials are easily impressed when shown old controversial plotlines. Plus TV/theater programming has been pretty shit as of late.

Absolutely not. There are better countries out there. With the current situation, US is falling behind other countries.
