I want to remind you: The house already passed the dream act. It's been sitting in the senate. The problem isn't the house, it's the senate where they don't have the votes.

Hold on, I thought the original text proposed had a provision that allowed people under the new parole program they’re trying to pass to travel abroad? Did that get taken out or was it a misunderstanding?

Immigration starts at page 862 - all it says on travel is:

Whether you need to apply separately for travel or it is a combo type card is unclear at the moment

Thank you! I think this may be an earlier draft though. I was browsing the bill up on the congress.gov website listing the bill as having passed the house, but I cannot find the protections and work permits section. I wonder if somebody is yet to update the text of the bill.

I guess they didn't update it yet because that text still has text for 'adjust of status' for DREAMers and no mention of parole.

Sorry I am a dreamer and I don't share that sense of entitlement. Saying that you or I deserve more than everybody else and expect people who are also are in need to sympathize with that is ridiculous. Worry about what you are getting and stop obsessing over or trying to police what someone else in need might get. We are all beggars at this pint but some are acting like they have a choice. The bill on the senate, would bring relief to many that have contributed to the US a lot more than many on this board. Any dreamer talking trash about it, should go cry to mamma and fuck off.

It would be relief to many, but it is also fact that a bunch of pussies are technically squandering away a great opportunity to get citizenship for us and other immigrants.
