i believe he is saying the bill will not be attached to the spending bill so it will be on its own and need 10 republicans to get on board. But according to tillis they have 10 republicans.
When does he mention he has 10?

lol, Tillis does not have 10 republican senators, I doubt that they even know about it, and the Washington post article is an opinion piece so take it with a Huge grain of salt

We are not getting 10 Republicans to vote for DACA relief legislation, let alone the DA.

For those not following along well:
-As a standalone bill/piece of legislation, this needs a super majority to pass in the senate, which means 60 votes, which means we would need 10 R votes, assuming all non-Rs would vote for it.
-If the legislation is attached to the federal spending package, only a simple majority is needed for it to pass (51 votes). In the event of a tie (only 50 votes), then the VP (Harralis) casts the tie breaking vote.

Minor point here. The bill only needs a simple majority to pass the Senate (51 votes) it needs 60 to overcome a filibuster. It's possible they get 10 Republicans to overcome filibuster and they just don't vote for the actual bill.

BUt, according to the parliamentarian, immigration bills can't be attached to spending bills so we need 10 repubs and therefore we are faked no matter what all those reporter-wannabe say

That’s not true. The parliamentarian ruling was regarding a reconciliation bill that passes under special rules and procedures. Attaching any DACA bill to an omnibus (not the NDAA) is the best bet.

If that was the case, why has this not been done before? There is no mention of attaching any daca related bill to the omnibus. I have not even heard of it as a plan B.

lol fuck you. You're no better than I am. You wouldn't know what you would do if you didn't have DACA.
