after decades of waiting I finally got my green card today. After all the absolute agony all the pain all the depression all the hopelessness I finally got legal status. I want to thank all those who helped me through out the years. I remember being in this very forum in 2006, yes 2006... signing up for this very forum. Ive had to wait decades for my card. Had so many dreams (literally) about the dream act being passed. Had dreams about legislation being passed that would cut down on the wait times for obtaining a visa. My mom initially applied for me back in 2001 but I aged out. I really, mean really hope, that the some type of legislatoin passes for anyone that was brought here as a kid, like I was. Not have to go thru the living hell, the social isolation and for lack of a better word the embarrassment of not being able to live like your peers. I wish all you guys the best of luck

Congratulations on finding your own solution rather than waiting endlessly for congress.

Where are you going to travel to first?

Congrats. Did you have DACA? I know that feeling and I still can’t believe it.

Did she apply for you on or before 4/30/01?

Congrats , especially not relying on this incompetent government to resolve your status.
Did it feel greater than when you got Daca? For me personally, I know this was bigger , but daca just had my emotions higher at the time. This just gave me more freedom

Actually we all rely on the government for the process.

Green Card is always going to be better than DACA.
