Sad to see the destruction of the Democrats unfold.

Don't depend on congress for your solution. They are utterly useless.
Work on your own solution or be at the mercy of a congress that doesn't even care about its own federal workers and citizens.
Da fuk?

Dems just gave up Laken Riley win to Trump

Unfortunately this may be right. You have about 12 Democrats who have gotten green light to vote with their Republican colleagues on any immigration enforcement. A lot of them who were recently re-elected.

Realistically the Democrats never really had an interest in helping us, everything was just one big farce.

Some Democrats had interest in helping us, but the majority are just tepid on the idea. We were 5 votes short in 2010 and I think what should've happened was the termination of the Senate Filibuster. Its not even constitutional.

Dick Durbin, Orrin Hatch(R-UT), and Luis Gutiérrez will always be the GOATs.

At this point, the ability of us getting any relief is dying out quickly and the Laken Riley act was probably our last chance to do so. Republicans are about to get the necessary funding for their deportation plans and border wall, all through their big reconciliation bill.

They still have avenues available for increasing funding toward enforcement measures such as building a border wall and enhancing border security personnel and detention facilities.
