3dstudio max is a great program for video or AVID Cinema..if u have an Apple that would be even better b/c Apples are the best for video editing. unfortunately i have a PC. i myself am an aspiring screenwriter, and have attended cinevegas here in nevada which is kind of like sundance in utah or tribeca in NY, just to get ideas i guess.

but i would look at the ending as.. something along the borders of having the kid, denied of something, for example; college or work companies closing the door on him (literally) and before that you show the kid making the honor roll or getting a 4.0, and the irony is he cant even get scholarships or get a job. also that bachelors degree is a good idea, something like he gets it, has a serious amount of debt and in the end, he doesn't get the job, and someone else who is less qualified gets it. tragedy thing is good as well, cuz it seems like he just wasted everything, he never got anything done after, he received his degree because Dream didnt pass.

-story should definitely be first
-then the facts about how 65,000 students graduate every year..etc. etc.
- have someone do the dialogue for the facts at the end, but the story could be no sound, just the pictures, so the audience could visualize what we are going through.

*who ever is in charge of this, i am willing to help, in any way i can, i just do not have the right programs, neither do i have an apple comp. but i would love to help in the process making as far as scenes and ideas.
