Welcome to the D.A.P. Girl you have to keep going to school. Even if you take one class per semester. Be careful with the waiver you submitted; they might ask you to go back to Mexico. Don't leave. My Mom is now stuck in Juarez because we didn't have advice when they made the appointment for her over there. Good luck and hopefully this 2008 will be a good one for those in this situation.

working, even if it is illegal, and b/c you have a son, serves an inspiration to all of those guys in washington d.c.,
-i was wondering if you pay taxes, with an ITIN number?..this is my first yr working, so i just needed some help with that?..also, wen DA passes, they say they want dreamies wit good morale character, and being honest and paying taxes, even if it is illegal work, falls under that threshold lol
Yes I am going to start to file with my husband to legalize myself through marriage I think it only takes a year for everything to go through. Thank you good luck to you as well. Yes I do pay taxes, I do have an ITIN number that is what I use when I file my income taxes. I dont know how I got it I just know my dad gave it to me. Sorry Im not such a huge help.

My mom and little sister were stuck out there as well but are now home. The reason why they got stuck was because they needed to make a new appointment because my brother was with them and he messed his up so they had to be over there for 3 months. WHat do u mean by be careful? I thought it was procedure to go back?

Thank you all so much for your responses because I never realized how lucky I am and how much being married to a citizen is going to help me. I used to see it as I didnt want to file through him because I didnt want nayone questioning why I married him, if it was just for legalization, so I wanted to get it through the DA. But for my son, I have to do this and I can't wait anymore, so Im filing as soon as possible.
