I also haven't received an access code so I can't do that. I saw for some people it updated automatically to their account, am I missing something?

Renewal sent: 1/25/18
Delivered: 1/26/18
Approved: 1/30/18
Check Cashed: 1/30/18
Biometrics: ?
Accepted: ?
Since this is your first time using the online account, you should get a letter in the mail with your acess code. Verify your indentity. Those who got it automatically updated is because they had an account from last renewal.

Did not file or sent the “G” form.
Should I call USCIS?
Why is it that lawyers never do this?! I constantly see this from people that use lawyers. smh

I'm thinking of leaving work early so I can get to the post office before it closes today. We'll see how that plan works...

Thank you for this clarification! Now to be patient and wait for the access code.

They reschedule 60-90 after original bio appointment. That would be around 7 times rescheduling your biometrics. Definitely doable.

And for only $20, worth the gamble.

Shoot, one time would be more than enough by the time everything gets done youd be looking at an extra 6-8 months.

You're golden if you get that bio appointment. Whether you want to reschedule it once (or at all), would be up to you.

It was just an idea. Last August, I heard people submitted their renewals with well over a year left on their EAD after the AGs made their lawsuit and Trump started to wind down DACA (no more renewals accepted unless you expired before March 201.

I don't see why USCIS would care if you renew within 1 day of being approved, better for them, they get another check and you lose time on your EAD, which means you have to renew sooner and send them another check sooner.

That's true but only when DACA is active. I'm talking after DACA is canceled due to a Supreme Court ruling (if that happens of course). Maybe you'd find a way to send your renewal the week before the ruling, but that doesn't mean USCIS will process renewal after DACA cancellation (even if the renewal arrived at their office before the ruling).

But hey, it's only $20, right? We'll how February shapes up.

Edit: when I referred to people who sent renewals in last August (with over a year left on their EAD), DACA was 'cancelled' in September, but those renewals were still processed if I'm not mistaken.

I personally know 3 people who aren't bothering to renew because of legal advice.

Pure madness.
