As of today (August 15) still haven't received my biometrics appointment. My brother sent his case on July 5, and he already had his biometrics appointment on August 5th. We both reside in Florida and don't have any criminal record and haven't traveled out of the US. We were assigned to the Nebraska Service Center. I contacted USCIS and they told me the same thing that's been posted about a delay for cases that were filed between February 14 and May 14 but that is not the case for me, so I'm worried about the delay.
Anyway, I was wondering if there is any difference of checking your case just through the case tracking section of the USCIS website or if you have to make an ELIS account, I never received the letter with the access code so I don't have one (my brother did receive that as well), thanks for any replies and good luck to all of us!

I received that same response last week but that same night a different representative emailed me with the questions they needed answered to help me.. But I haven't heard anything after that.

Through my account, no changes on case status... all that changes was the note... status still shows processing, but I guess that's the normal procedure!

I believe they will change the notice tomorrow to Card sent to production.
