what happens if my parents became USC how long would it take for me to adjust my status? or will it be just as long?

The most you can get is an estimate since it depends on your country and there are sometimes retrogression/oversubscribed issues with the visa bulletin (which extends the wait times).
Once your parents are USCs, they can upgrade your petition and depending on the Visa Bulletin at the time that might allow you to file for adjust of status earlier (or later, it happens).


For the May 2010 Visa Bulletin - Mexico, they're working on/before 15JUN92 for Children of USC and 15OCT92 for children 21+ of PR (family - 2b).

For siblings of USC, they're working on those on/before 08DEC95.


In this case, it looks like your brother's petition would be speedier. You should have him start one for you and your parents can file another one once they're PRs, just in case.
