As far as I know, China doesn't want immigrants. Instead I think they are trying to send their citizens to different countries because of over populations. What makes you think there is 1 child only policy? But there may be exceptions.

But consider China's less human rights than here. Their government really looks crooked in my opinion. I don't think I wanna live there even though my Chinese skill is ok at least in conversation. I went up to half way of the Rosetta Stone Chinese Level 3 and need to finish them up this winter break. =D

Anyway, aren't you from India, DA User? If I am right, India is fast growing country too. In fact I remember reading just the title in Time Magazine that India will surpass China.

It'd be nice to get a job with a 'western' company operating a plant in China. They pay very well and they may send you to other plants that they have around the world. I'll have an ABET-accredited engineering degree and hopefully that's worth -something-...?

Politically yes.
Economically no.

Not as bad as decades ago but no where near Western Countries or S. Korea or Japan or any other developed nations.

You wont that much difference about human right in china unless u r heavy into politics. The only thing in China that scares me right now is the high inflation rate, on food and housing.

China is doing the transition SLOWLY, not like the fuck-tards in my country that when they heard democracy; they all went to stock up on ammunition.

Try having 1.2 billion Chinese people and each of them wanting to do w/e they want. When I see fox news lie straight up like that, I'm glad China has some type of media control. It destroys a country when you have a kukupuff on t.v telling people that 911 was an inside job,

As far as the inflation goes, they have lowered their currency artificially and will get it back up to living standards once they are good enough to survive as a consumer based economy; once the u.s is on the decline.

give it time, they have 1.2 billion people; it ain't easy

the land of the "sue me" ain't that free anymore

I don't know what I can do with Neuroscience degree from a very small college so I will never look back at my old dreams that I am still holding on to and I am ganna start a new life with new mindset. I am ganna go for a field where I can make good money instead, so I can live normal, stable life.

I am going back to my home country. At the beginning, I will probably make money out of teaching job. As soon as I save enough I will go off around the world, just traveling. Then Im ganna come back with a fresh, healed, and happy mind so I can start schooling again. Once I get my degree and get a stable job, I will join all kinds of good, volunteer organization. I am going to take some time to go help poor kids around the world every year. I am also ganna learn the bartending skills so I can be a bartender as a hobby or side-job. Once I save good enough money, I am ganna open my own, small bar and I am ganna donate all the tips I collected to my own charity organization. I will spend week days at work and weekends at my bar. And one day I am ganna buy Jeep wrangler unlimited, drive as much as I want and go everywhere I want to go. Oh, I am also ganna date a lot of people. I will read books, watch movies, learn instruments or new languages when I am bored or about to get depressed again.

Someone told me that if you planned something in very detail, realistic way, then achieving 50% of that is still a success.
