You're like a white girl in my 8th grade reading class. She busted out a snickers bar right in the middle of an oral quiz and when the teacher asked her to throw it out, she was like can I still finish it?!

I've flown about 8 times now with no problems except delays. I always take precautions though; cut my hair, shave facial hair, dress like a businessman, etc. I don't worry too much though because I go to a prestigious university.

I am assuming you meant that if you get detained and they decide not to follow through with the case because of mitigating circumstances alluded to in the Morton memo.

I am not entirely sure but I would imagine they would, however, I would also imagine the plane left by the time you are done with the fiasco. You would have to deal flight arrangements with the airline.

I thought detention and arrest were required by the INA for aliens found to be in the country without authorization?

What do you mean? If it's about domestic flights, then yes. If you mean in general, it's possible you'll need it as a form of ID. Generally, aliens (such an outdated term, as a friend reminded me the other day) are required to carry their passports with them. It might be useful to have, just in case.
