Violence wise I must say its actually pretty calm. I think the media generalizes a lot when they say Juarez is violent or Monterrey or Morelia is violent therefore Mexico (the country) is violent and fortunately that's not true.

It's the Sonoran desert so it can get REAL hot in the summer (think a little bit hotter than Phoenix). I find it funny here because as soon as temperatures hit 70 to 65 degrees you can already see people wearing heavy jackets and scarves lol.

Oh yeah I was in toluca two weeks ago....its pretty damn cold but it gets cold in Puebla too. Its nice to see Sonora is fairly safe, I always thought the north as a whole was pretty unstable
