I am worried about the age cap too.
Let's say the bill passes and becomes a law, I would rather get my bachelor degree at least and apply for that non-immigration visa later.
If he's pushing student visa, we can't work for a company.

This almost confirms it, it's probably going to be strict, the "some of them" line confirms it fully. Also, the "work visa after you graduate" confuses me. So is he saying dreamers could travel but not yet work?????

Vargas is 31 and is part of the filibuster suing. I am guessing it will be 35 with no Retro or 30 with Retro.

Why would you wait and stay out of status? when Dream Act passes then you can get that non-immigrant Visa. There is no student Visa in this but you can attend college/university.

I am not sure if you can work while going to school for any company. For those who already have a degree can work. I am guessing it will be 35 with no Retro or 30 with Retro.

Or it could be work while attending school also.

Duuude...I've been wanting to point this out for a while now, but just never got a chance. Jose Antonio Vargas came here at 12 and is now 31, and he's fighting is ass hard to get legalized. If he gets excluded from this because of his age, I'm sure him and his supporters will fight for CIR. Bottomline, those who belong in the same category as him still have hope.

Dreamers for about 10+ years have always been defined as those who came here age 15 or younger. I posted a story yesterday about Guttieriez advocating for a stay of deportation for a dreamer who came here at 14. If Rubio tries to change the age of entry and make a new max age, you can certainly bet that Democrats will certainly oppose his bill. I mean he is taking away the path to citizenship as we know it, instate tuition and all the other stuff that made it attractive to democrats. He didn't even talk about the military part of the bill. He can't only try to please Conservatives with this bill.

It is up to the states to grant in-state tuition. Not the federal govt.

Would we be able to work while going to school? Because for someone who hasn't got a college degree yet how in the world they are going to pay out of state intuition without a job. I know its $357 per credit hour here in florida and thats just for a 2 year degre.
