Is it really likely that we will be required to sign up before applications are filed???

Does it work in a similar fashion for other types of deferred action or visas?

QUICK QUESTION: Are women under the age of 26 required to register as well? Is it optional for them?

Nope. Selective Service only concerns males between 18-26.

I think Task meant by that is.. you can't check your status on the website without an SSN.

Gotta love this country, you can't live here, you can't work here but you still need to pay taxes here and if they piss anyone off enough to invade you also have to defend their asses.
