Lost my ead smdh!!!!!!! - Page 2

This is ridiculous.. 99% of the prople who pick it up are USCs.. What are they gonna do? Work with it? They can already do that.. You can't do anything with an EAD.. Plus it has your picture and fingerprint.. No one is going to use it.. Even lets assume that the person who picked it up was undocumented.. Now what are the chances they look like the OP? I'd say one in a million.. The only thing that sucks is that you have to apply and wait for another one..

What annoys me the most is that someone probably already took the damn money and credit card and probably tossed the wallet, and someone else found it and took it just to take it! THATS THE THING WHATS ANNOYING ME THE MOST!!!!!!!!!!! My thing is at least have the decency to send my ead back but in a society of ppl shooting up schools it aint happening.

You never know, I once found a wallet with no money in it I put the guys license and cards in an envelope and mailed it to his house, I once found a license by itself on the floor as well and just tossed it in a mailing box, if someone throws your EAD in a mailbox I think you should get it, unless it gets delivered to uscis

Its funny cuz I was asking all my friends what would they do if they found an ID? All said return it but they were probably just being nice but I really hope someone has the decency to return it ughhhhhhhhhhh. It annoys me cuz where I'm I gonna get $498 from?

I think most people would return it.. You can't do much with it.. Besides try using it as your own but even then you could get introuble for doing that and it goes right back to the topic it's an EAD.. 99% of people here can work without that

yup it sucks that we have to pay another 465 for a replacement and then wait month after month just get out of initial review. Anyway if this makes you feel any better, I filed for a replacement back in April and I just received the card on Tuesday so about 4months wait time, I'm from CA btw.
