Forgot to mention:

If you want to explore Canada, Australia or New Zealand options -

I suggest contacting a couple immig lawyers for these countries- they usually do free 1st time consultation over the phone.

Just explore your options - they can tell u which option is best for you.

Yup -

EWI doesn't matter. Canada doesn't really care what your status is here - as long as you're honest about it on your application.

You should also obviously have no criminal record.

They are looking for immigrants to fill gaps for necessary skills - and if you're hard-working, educated and a decent person- then it's to their advantage to bring you in and have you contribute to their economy.

EWI or E w/o I - doesn't matter.

For the proof of funds, what do they exactly ask for? Can some of the funds be from a loan from a bank or a student loan?
