The GOP bill addresses all these issues. That bill isn't passing nor anything that completely fixes the majority of the things listed above.

1. Dems aren't going to give more than 10B allocated over any period of time.
2. Dems are fighting for all DREAMers, not just DACA beneficiaries.
3. Parents don't get a path to citizenship as it says, but Dems could probably remove the parent's work authorization in the bill.
4. GC holders can only sponsor nuclear families in the new bill. That's all Dems are giving on chain migration.
5. Lottery will be ended, but will be allocated to TPS and those less represented countries (i.e. African countries).

Do I think Democrats should budge more? I don't know.

Edit: Here's the list.
1. Fails to Secure the Border: "provides less than 10 percent of the necessary funds to construct the border wall."
2. Increases Illegal Immigration and Guarantees Future Amnesties: "provides immigration benefits to certain illegal aliens who came to the United States as juveniles."
3. Proposal Not Only Grants Citizenship To Up to 3 Million “DREAMers,” But Also Grants Legal Status to Their Parents: "grants a path to citizenship to an illegal population that is nearly five times larger than the population of DACA recipients."
4. Increases Chain Migration: "keeps chain migration in place while increasing the number of individuals eligible to bring in their foreign relatives through chain migration."
5. Fails To End the Visa Lottery.

I really don't get that part... should've just gotten rid of sibling sponsorship for dreamers, and allow citizens to continue sponsoring parents. No idea why they added the 3 yr renewable for parents.

It was a concession. Since GOP doesn't want us to be able to sponsor our parents, this is a way they can stay here legally without becoming citizens.
