Go to Puerto Rico, it'll remind you a lot of Latin America. Take the ferry from Fajardo to Culebra or Vieques. The ferry to Vieques was like 45 mins. Note, I went there 2 years ago prior to hurricane.

^ I second that. Google “FunCat”, it’ll show the result for the funcat catamaran that is docked in Fajardo. They do snorkeling on Isla Palominos and they serve lunch and it was very well priced. We did that accidentally thinking it was a ferry ride to Culebra and we don’t regret it
