[quote=FLDreamerrr;765498]Republicans will take over for another 4-6 years .
Everyone one of you reading this better be working on a plan b. If you have daca idc if you had ewi you have a chance now to resolve your stuff your own selves . Stop depending on the government . If you ever needed a sign this is one. If you have EWI get your AP done ASAP. If you have legal entry start dating and start being up front about your status. The is honestly your only way out stop depending on these idiots in Washington who never get anything done. It’s been two administrations later since Obama and nothing has been done for daca , it actually almost got eliminated.[/QUOTE

This is spot on. I’ve been waiting since my initial application. I’m now 38 and I feel like my life is wasting away waiting for a solution. Don’t wait until it’s too late.

Immigration remains key sticking point. It’s unclear how it gets resolved. Some moderates don’t want to vote for provisions - like a registry or parole for undocumented immigrants - given that it’s likely to be stripped in Senate and Manchin has concerns. CHC members want it in

Latest immigration language from House:
-immigration parole in place for people who entered U.S. with & without inspection pre-2011
-family, employment & diversity visa recapture
-fast-tracked status adjustment

https://twitter.com/ellengilmer/stat...597855751?s=20
the roller coaster continues.

There is nothing moderate about barring ppl from buying affordable health care.
WHO are these self-called moderates???
To be clear: DEMOCRATS asked to ban undocumented immigrants, most ESSENTIAL WORKERS FROM GETTING HEALTHCARE!!

Apparently Rep. Josh Gottheimer?

@PabloReports
Been asking members + staff today to identify the mysterious House Democrat(s) reportedly working behind the scenes to gut immigrant relief in BBB (tmk no Dems have publicly said that they oppose relief).

Three House sources now tell me a key obstructionist was
@RepJoshG
.

Him and Henry anti-choice Cuellar apparently.

"In Congress, Josh serves on two Committees, including the House Financial Services Committee, where he is a member of the National Security, International Development and Monetary Policy Subcommittee and the Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship, and Capital Markets Subcommittee. Josh also serves on the House Homeland Security Committee, where he is a member of the Intelligence and Counterterrorism Subcommittee and the Transportation and Maritime Security Subcommittee.

In January 2017, Josh was elected Co-Chair of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus, where he works to bring the group of 29 Democrats and 29 Republicans together across party lines to find areas of agreement on key issues including lowering taxes, cutting health insurance premiums, and improving infrastructure to help the American people. He was re-elected Co-Chair of the Problem Solvers Caucus in January 2021."

Well, his bio tells why...he's totally pro-corporation, low tax (for corporations). Also, wtf is a 'problem solvers caucus'??
