Interesting. They haven't officially come out with issues re: bio appts if it impacted many folks but don't remember seeing issues with bios previously.
This was previously manually done when the applications were received, so someone slowly but surely made sure bio appts were sent out.
Think increasing automation of the systems with ELIS, it may eventually lead to faster and more transparent processing but interim it is leading to all sorts of issues as systems are not 100% fault tolerant.
I remember days when local office was a lot more helpful. They were able to schedule biometrics appt for any application pending in their system and print it right at the local office. I guess with centralization, gone are those days and we are caught up in the transitions phase as the kinks are worked out.

Has anyone been asked by NILC if you're interested in going public? I'm still waiting... They flagged my case last Monday but so far I still haven't heard anything... Been on a leave of absence since last Wednesday. They asked me but I'm not sure what that would entail?

Yup, I was asked if im interested in going public in the email from NILC asking for info about my case (case numbers, etc) prior to flagging my case, but I put no when they asked.

Im in the same boat, on a leave of absencd since last wednesday the HR and people at my job are constantly asking when I'll be back. If its too late ill lose my job i think :'(

They didn't ask me beforehand but yesterday they were checking to see if I'd received any updates and also asked me about going public.. I think I would be scared to do that though.

Luckily I had a couple weeks of PTO saved up so I'm currently "on vacation". My job didn't give me a timeline as to how long they would wait for me but I'm hoping I don't have to find out.. I hope we get approved soon!

This person on a facebook DACA group got approved in two weeks. TWO WEEKS. I'm done even trying to figure out that damn system.

I just called USCIS again and the agent was actually nice she said that even though my i821d has April 21 as the day it was received what is important is my receipt letters. Then I mentioned the email I received about my case being reviewed by TSC and she said that if my case was transferred I would get a letter letting me know but the email doesn't necessarily mean it was transferred it only means that TSC is going to answer my question which is WHY IS MY CASE STILL PENDING....

And of course to call back in 30 days if I haven't gotten a response... :]]]]]]]]]]♧
